![]() ![]() My family & I have Golden Rule Farm in Kaleva Michigan. ![]() In the winter months they get local organic hay and produce scraps. We feed our goats fermented alfalfa along with lots of fresh pasture greens and browse throughout the summer. We milk a small herd of goats on the farm that provide us, our customers and other animals with fresh milk. We focus on raising our livestock with a pasture and produce based diet. In addition to all the above our livestock is also corn, soy and wheat free. We do this WITHOUT the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s), pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. Everything here on our farm is raised with love and care until it is ready for harvest. This will include feeding, housing, milking, and any other goat topics you are wondering about!Īt Hidden Creek Farm we believe in Heritage breeds, Heirloom produce and raising the healthiest foods possible for our community. Crystal has many years of experience raising goats with organic techniques for Hidden Creek Farm’s dairy herd share program and will be sharing her wisdom and experience with you. Goats are an easy and basic gateway animal for the homesteader-but not without their challenges. Join us around the campfire Saturday evening for some homestead farm fellowship.
